gosh, that's a terrible thing to happen to anyone.

anyhow, i think we should not generalise that all Malaysians do not help when there is an accident. when my sister was a victim of a snatch thief, and fell and hit her head on the road, a lot of ppl came to her aid immediately while she was lying there all covered in blood.

hope your friend's sister gets to a full recovery soon.

This is typical of M'sians (the onlookers, I mean)...kaypoh but never willing to help. And you'll get excuses like "the blood will stain my car", "authorities are coming la"... ~_~

I'll pray for her and hope she gets better BUT please...don't think that it's your fault. The fact that Chris can call you and confide in you shows that he bears you no ill-will. Just be there for him lor.

Thank you, fellow readers for your well wishes. I haven't got the update from Chris yet. When I spoke to him last night, his sister had just gone out from the operation room after a 3-hour op. She is still in the ICU. We are all keeping vigil for her, in fact, I can't remember how many joss sticks I had offered to the Goddess of Mercy at home.

Will keep you guys posted.

I learnt something today. Out of the horse's mouth itself. My sis' friend said NOBODY STOPPED. There wasn't a crowd of people looking, they were NOT concerned not to move her. NO CAR STOPPED. JUST LOOKED AND PASSED BY. FUCKING MALAYSIAN MENTALITY.
