can always take personal loan from banks mar. that's what ppl do in other countries like india to fund their marriage.
i'm not implying mae is funding her marriage is anything ah.. this is what i gather from my discussion with my colleagues in india.. apparently, marriage is a huge huge thing here and they don't really save money for marriage.. it's normally to borrow a huge amount of money and later pay it back
From the frying into the fire. It's better not to borrow from ah long. Say what you wan, they already have intention to use the roughest means to get back their money. Even if one thinks he can repay then why not borrow from close friends or relatives. If cannot find one means the fler already in deep deep deep shiiiiiiitttt!

i agree with u. i always read about bad things of the ahlongs, as if the borrower is innocent.
i mean, who ask for it first? and who has that duty and responsibility to payback?
i m sure before contract is entered, terms and condition are spelt out before one is committed to that something....just like terms and conditions of the dual between u and chubby....heheheheeh.
