Gravatar Hi Gina,

You can send back your camera for a FREE new camera. Apparently, if you can prove that the part spoilt is a manufacturer's default, you can get a brand new camera!

I did, and I got my Canon PSA70 swapped for a brand new PS520, after two years and two months... hee hee

Believe me, I am NOT JOKING! Check out www.canon.com. Apparently, there is a manufacturer's default for its camera LCD screens in Southeast Asia.

Gravatar sure Kitjar...must go and check it out since i last bought the Canon Ixy frm Japan

Gravatar With peaceful & traffic-jam-free environment, cheap food/groceries... it sounds like Taaiping is a retirement town.

The first picture is awesome.

Gravatar Taiping is a good town.

Thanks, Kitjar for the tip. Appreciate it very much.

Gravatar Taiping is a town worth visiting especially for every hopeless romantics... hehhe... the town exudes nothing but charm, warmth, colonial era and of course very little traffic. I don't know if you have heard of this but apparently there is a famous shop called Kedai Doli serving the ever delicious Kuey Tiaw Doli.

Gina, I hope you'll get back your camera soon. By the way, tell sekinchan boy that his photo of the lake is one of the best i've come across by far.
