Ouch... can make a lot of enemies that way... there are a lot of sensitive people out there, particularly in the corporate world.
At least you are aware of it, most don't realise it... best of luck.

lol. I'm also quite sarcastic but i try to do it in a polite way that makes people confuse as to whether i'm being nice or nasty.
I think sarcasm could make a guy sound more macho and attractive but for a gal it's the opposite. I think hypocrisy suits gals better.

Sarcasm is not something to be proud of. You may directly cause problems to people's mental health. Some people tend to be more sensitive than others. I am one of them due to health reasons, and when people turn sarcastic, I automatically think that I am not worthy enough to be talking to him/her. Thus I usually shun talking. Have mercy, we don't mean to be dumb, just a little slow in processing actions and words sometimes.

Zing: That is why I always look back when I am walking alone in a dark alley.. afraid someone might just stab me to death from behind. Hahaha!! Not all the time lah. Only when I am pissed.
Jakun: I cannot imagine if we both started quarreling leh. World War III?
Kat: Actually some people like me for being this way. They find it amusing.
keshimaya: True also. Thanks for pointing it out. I don't have communication problem, maybe those I am communicating with, are the ones with problems.
abbot: Hypocrisy is never in my dictionary. I cannot do it. I rather be sarcastic and unattractive, than to be a hypocrite and attractive.
Anon: Usually, I could gauge from the conversation whether or not the person is sensitive. Of course, if I find the person I talk to is a bit sensitive, I would not go and press all the wrong buttons. I am usually nasty when I am with people who already knew me pretty well. And I am only sarcastic when someone pissed me off. So, don't make me angry.. or else, the green monster will surface.

this reminds me of the time when a friend's friend (not even someone i know) called me at midnight after i've been oncall, because she's got chest pain.
i had to bite my tongue before it would spew out some expletives.
