Thanks for this. I'd wondered who was actually in favor of the Kelo decision, as I had neither seen nor been able to imagine any defense.
I agree with the above.
Ygelsias is one of the brightest bloggers I read but he is way way off-base on this one.
The key question (besides one of basic social equity) is: Does promoting economic development need condemnation? The answer is obviously no.
