Gravatar Ah, you missed being at the historic event.

Sigh, such a good photo shoot opportunity goes down the (d)rain.

Gravatar wei, u tak tau baca ka? read again... the Star newspaper was reporting on the group near Masjid Jamek (jln tun perak) that got sprayed and tear gassed. not the total crowd of the whole rally (10k, 30k, 40k?) which was all over the city in a few locations before they arrived at Istana.

besides, who can estimate the proper total number among crowds of kay pohs and genuine ppl? what measurements would u use?

Gravatar Numbers are easily manipulated though they make good photos - and it's never easy to guesstimate any crowd beyond 5-7 thousand, but I'd go with the general figure of 40,000 - judging by the excitement and joy I could sense amongst those gathered in the heart of KL to show their support for clean elections and justice. For me, the fact that so many friends I never expected to take an interest in political affairs actually made it a point to attend - even though they were wary of police brutality (and who isn't?). I for one am extremely glad I made it to this significant event. Syabas, BERSIH, for a brilliant organisational job!

Gravatar Hey bro,

I was at the rally covering from the bloggers view. You can take some look at the accounts from me, rocky, stephen, and eric.
we too had a post-rally dinner with the big group there.
