At every public appearance Dubya makes, there should be people hoisting shoes on poles. Do it.

We should donate shoes in the name of George...or, more appropriately, in the name of the shoe-chucker...to those in need.
Just an opinion...

I noticed that Cory posted a link to a website that suggests that you send your old shoes to the George Bush Presidential Library. This is a bad idea and who ever suggested this fails to realize that.
1: George Bush will almost never be present in the library.
2: The people who are employed at the George Bush Library are NOT employed by George Bush. Instead they are employed by the National Archives and are mostly museum people (eg registrars, education directors, IT people, etc) that have had nothing to do with Bush's poor decision making in any way, shape, or form.
Don't get me wrong I hate George Bush and I am highly looking forwards to Jan 20th, but by doing this you are creating quite a bit of a headache for some good people trying to run a museum.
Instead maybe send those shoes to his home or the white house where he will be present.

And thereofre they will keep the shoes as part of the historical record of the Bush administration, years from now whne someone is plowing thru the library, they will find the shoes and make it a nice story about the last 8 years and Bush's story. Send em' on!

Better yet, after 1/20/09, throw them on his new lawn at 10141 Daria Pl, Dallas, TX 75229. Be sure first to soil them with your friendly neighborhood doggy bombs.

No, Mi3ke, they will just have to deal with having the shoes thrown away.
I'm sure they'll be very, very moved that people are expressing their contempt for the President by harassing NARA employees who have nothing to do with him. Go you.

I am not feeling all that sorry for the Pres. library smu folks. I heard from students and faculty there that many people did not want the libary to be located there. If you are going to agree to do it, and make the money from it, and get the media because of it then...
you should take the good with the bad.
This president is responsible for death and destruction and people are outraged. If you step into it and support him to the extent that you sell your soul so he can have his pretend freedom foundation there- then oh well.

Can we send them COD? I'd hate to spend any money sending him anything! Besides, I'd rather throw them right at him....
