What did I miss the most? Hearing more about the "real" people of Wasilla.
America's Hometown.
Well, Katie really tried to stay even with Dave not jumping on the obvious bandwagon.... but then, she's a professional and good for her for staying that way. I hope we see her doing more REAL interviews in the future. I think that's always been her strength so she should stay with that.
Moosemeat..... I hate to say this but when I lived in Alaska.... my hub of the time knew lots of hunter types though he stuck with fishing. He brought home a haul of about 30 Copper River sockeye salmon he dipnetted himself. He stunk to high heaven but man, we had salmon to die for cooked many ways and lots of people enjoyed that! He also would bring home moosemeat.... and it made simply THE best chili mean in the known universe. Caribou a close second. I always get on the Bambi killers around here..... and then I ask them for some meat. *blush*
Sarah Palin made them all look stupid, but really they aren't... not all of them anyway. It's an incredible place really. I think the new senator will outshine her. She'll forever be defined as what she is.... a beauty pagent runner up. Again, I hope she does run and energize the base of the gop. It's just easier when we know what they're up to. 
I just loooove this new cough syrup.... pina colada flavor with the sleepy stuff in it. mmmmmmmm
