Ah, they pick their sinners very carefully, and then go on and on about it, don't they. I had not heard about the big-screen welfare queen. I'm sure it doesn't occur to these right-wing bigots that life lived in poverty is about as painful as it gets. None of us is immune to an extravagance every now and then. Even the very poor who live on our miserly doled out alms.
Hmmm...where have I seen this divisive tactic before?
My guess is that those condemning the poor and the working poor at that, care little about what an afterlife might have in store for them. And, truly believe that their interpretation of how to live one's life is THE correct way. Again, where have we seen this before?
What to do? Keep a working supply of tools and comrades by one's side, and keep going. I, for one, refuse to give up.
