Beautiful. I love how green everything is right now. So, did you get a lot of rain this year? Is that why the Yucca blossomed? It's lovely.
It's a yucca treculeana, one of several species aptly named spanish dagger. This one is native to texas and is more common toward the coast, from Corpus Christi to Brownsville. We have had unusual rain this spring, and that may be why it blossomed. It is not as much of a desert plant as other big yuccas.
