I'm no wasp expert, but I will tell you this: last year when I was photographing a large (30 +) P. exclamans nest near my back door, the citizenry became extremely agitated. I'd closed in to maybe 3 feet at perihelion when they'd clearly had enough of me and initiated dive-bombing maneuvers. Because of this instructive experience, I now say unto you, please wear chain mail if you attempt your relocation project!
