What color are your walls? You've got the best walls. This deep wet sand shade.
You take some great shots.
If the wild grape leaf were transparent, it would have reticulations similar to the dragonfly wing.

The walls are more or less white, but at that spot take some color from the Saltillo tile floors underneath. We used to have the walls painted in pretty shocking Mexican Frida Kahlo colors, deep glossy almost-black purple and lime green and turquoise and some other colors. The purple was in the kitchen which is brighly lit by sunlight during the day, and had handprints of children who helped paint.
We thought at one time we might want to sell this house, and so we re-painted the walls white. Plus we were afraid of liability for epileptic seizures if we had Republican visiors. I miss the old colors.
Those dragonfly wings are great. I am struck by those spots and the transparency.
Grendel is beautiful. A lovely study of pinks and white, with that shock of blue eyes. Elegant.
My dad insists Grendel has the general constitution of a weasel. I'm glad others appreciate his finer qualities. The pictures are lovely, dad.
