We had a fig tree in Santa Cruz. I'm not much of a fig eater, so either DPR got them or the birds. We didn't even dry them.
Gray looks cute, even though he hasn't figured out the way of the flue yet.
We have several fig trees here in Va. Beach. The figs aren't ready yet. Currently the largest tree is serving as a nesting site for a gorgeous Mourning Dove.
There is a cardinal nest in the fig tree, but I have not tried to monitor how the cardinals are dealing with the feeding frenzy going on around them. I don't know that it's a good home environment for nestlings.
