you seem a bit disappointed, or perhaps dejected, to have marched once again. the monotony of war and protest parades, year after year, is wearing us all down, to say nothing of destroying both iraq and our country.

I'm glad to see you post something here. I was hoping you would have had a few words during the primary/caucus event in your state. Yes, the marching continues. Five years and still counting. The big difference is how much worse everything is now, compared to even two years ago. What will next year's March look like? How much will gas cost? How much of Wall Street will we taxpayers have bailed out? How many more dead soldiers and civilians? Will we have invaded Iran? Stay tuned.

Well, I enjoyed the march--for one thing it was a beautiful warm day and the music had a nice jazz funeral sound, hard not to be uplifted by that. It's just that I keep being struck by how the, um, counterculture seems to have finally attracted a lot of old people
