ROTFLMAO!!! Strong pickled onion jars, you are too hysterical!
All of that apple butter talk makes me want to taste some. I think I had some as a child, maybe I didn't, who knows. Usually I just have plain butter on my toast, you know, when I have toast.
Someone brought some Vegemite to school for show and tell once and I have never forgotten the experience. Dreadful stuff! My eyes tear up at the very thought.
Uhm.... do you have a recipe or do I just throw a bunch of apples in the crock pot, watch a Golden Girls marathon on Lifetime and then start eating? Inquiring minds want to know.

I've never had apple butter. One day, after the weather cools down and the fall apples are ripe, I'm gonna give it a whirl.
thank you for the tutorial!!

I do love it so when you use the word "whilst" as many times as posible. Now you have me wishing it was fall.

Sounds delish!
I'd like you to do a post on all the things that have different names in Australia than they do here...like copper kettle. That way I have some of the vocabulary down before I come visit.
