I will miss your posts a lot, but like anything else in life, everyone gets burned out if they do something for a long period of time. I hope you come back after your break refreshed and renewed and your batteries recharged. If not, a lot of us will miss your posts, but it would be very selfish for all of us not to understand. Lookng forward to a few more posts before July and hope to hear from you in the fall. Take care.
I hear you Mikey.....As much as I enjoy it I understand. To tell you the truth, I'm surprised how long you have been doing it. At some point the pressure of writing something must make it not fun anymore. If you do come back to it, I would suggest some kind of weekly or bi-weekly update. This way people know when to look for something and you don't get smothered in e-mails from people ready to call 911. Good luck......
That's a bummer Mikey, but you gotta do what you gotta do. As much as I enjoy reading about your daily adventures in Americas Playground, laundry and all, I can sympathize with the need to make a change if even temporary to keep your head on straight.
I know how much you enjoy writing and don't think you'll be away for too long. Somewhere along the line you seem to have drifted from a macro style of just telling stories, writing about cool adventures and whatever to a micro style detailing every aspect of your daily getting on. I'm sure you'll snap back into it sometime and find your muse, and when you do, we'll be here to suck it all up.
Keep in touch and maybe we'll see you sometime this summer.

I think you do need to recharge the batteries. The repetitious remarks of doing laundry, going to the bank, and being perpetually tired over different shifts at work was getting old. Take care and enjoy the summer.
You're always entertaining, even when writing about mundane things and I envy your descriptive style which seems to come naturally to you. If you put your mind to it I think you could be a succesful writer (as in making money). I know being able to cook a great meal doesn't mean you can run a restaurant but seriously Mikey I think you've got enough creativity and drive to turn your hobby into more. Have a good vacation but if you get lonely don't feel like you have to stick to September for a comeback. You'll be missed.

Very sad to hear. I enjoy reading your daily things in life, weather trivial or not it makes some of us smile and laugh. I understand being burnt out too. Hopefully a good couple of months off is all u need. We will all be here and waiting when you return. good luck and have fun Mikey!!!

I am truly bummed out but I understand. Remember, your readers enjoy reading everything you write, you don't have to write about incredible things everytime. Waaah I love your posts even if it may be mundane things. Your faithful readers understand that you need a break and that is fine but I for one love your writing and I hope that you come back in September with loads of good stuff.
