With all these hours they're working (not that anyone's complaining) aren't you going over that magic 32-hour limit for part-timers, or does that not apply to the poker room?
It doesn't apply. This is the casino biz. It doesn't matter how many hours I work--they ain't payin' benefits if they don't have to.
OK, my mistake then. I thought I remembered something about if the part-timers were working more than 32 hours for too long, that there was some policy or something ... but yeah, the casino biz is a tough one in a lot of ways.
I'll just be quiet now.
Regardless, I'm happy that the famine was short.
Btw, when we gonna go get some more garlic donuts???
Oh man oh man oh man. Good question! This week is totally out for me. Next week is looking busy already .. but maybe the week after that.
I really crave those things. I could make a meal of garlic donuts, calamari and beer.
Mikey: Where did you get the sunglasses. I got regular glasses about the same time you did last year. And now that my Maui Jim's are falling apart I would like to get a good pair of prescription sunglasses. Clue me in. Thanks.
