Sounds like a great weekend. The only shocking thing about your time downtown is no visit to the Golden Gate.

I tried that Bundaberg rum last year when I was down under and couldn't "acquire" the taste for it either. But I wouldn't give to get my hands on some ice cold Victoria Bitters.

Love the Nugget! Everything about the place is great - from the rooms to the food. BUT...I hardly gamble there - I usually go to The Golden Gate or Binions. Just don't feel the gambling vibe at GN.

Excellent! Helps jump start my trip to LV! You really ought to write a book. If you don't think it would sell you're wrong. There's a guy out there who wrote about all his drunken endevors and attempts to get..ahem...lucky with the ladies that was a big seller a few years ago and his writing was nowhere close to yours. And your style is so much more entertaining.

Care to explain what the deal is with the shark tank/pool? I have been to vegas multiple times, but never heard of it.
There could be a hidden topic in there too. Tacky vegas stuff (Imperial Palace car exhibit) and things that are actually pretty cool and hold there own (Big Shot at the Strat)...
