Great post, Mustang. Right on target. The fact that some people can't discern the difference leaves me questioning their mental capacity. Or at the very least their agenda.

So, dear readers, let us dip back into the past and maybe find some wisdom...or at least a clue that will guide us.
Genghis Khan and the Golden Horde having swept across the steppes, are now approaching the cities of Europe.
What should the leaders advice the populace?:
1. a)Issue guitars to all hands. b) Practice holding hands, swaying back and forth. c) Learn all the words to "We are the world, we are the children". d) Open the city gates and leave them open as a sign of peace and understanding.
2. a) Issue swords, spears, bows and arrows, etc. to all hands. b) Practice how to kill barbarians. c) Learn how to yell "Bring me more arrows". d) Close the city gates and barricade and fortify the city to the max.
OK, I've heard it said that if when you are twenty you're not an idealist, you have no heart. On the other hand, if you are forty and you're not a realist, you have no head.
Anyone that walked out singing, bearing foods and smiling the smile of peace to Khan the the boys would have had their heads whacked off and the body ridden over by thousands who would have been entirely puzzled by such silliness.
I rest my case.

Thanks, guys. I cannot emphasize enough that WE ARE THE GOOD GUYS. Some of those who live among us will be the bozos who open the gates to the invading hordes and offer them flowers. Their throats will be cut first, of course, but they place the rest of us in grave danger.
Has anyone figured out why the State Department hasn't imposed any immigration restrictions yet?

Mustang,
One small correction: Durbin is from Illinois (aka Ill-Noise).
This media spin which tries to portray our good guys as bad guys is wearing mighty thin with the thinking public. The far-left Dems are showing their true colors, and those colors are not red, white, and blue.
Durbin refuses to apologize because he actually believes what he said. How sick is that?
A friend of my father's used to say, "The second law of history is 'Never trust any politician.' All that a politician cares about is getting votes."
My Illinois friends, who are not by definition Republicans, are appalled by the garbage proceeding out of Durbin's mouth. I wonder if the voters there will mobilize and vote Durbin out of office?
Tad,
Exactly right about the whacking off of heads.
Let me add the following: some of those who recently got their heads whacked off were humanitarian idealists, trying to help the poor people of Iraq.
