BTW, for those who don't know, in the military (and esp. the Marines) a "mustang" is an officer who came up through the enlisted ranks. Most every enlisted Marine will tell you that they really admire "mustangs".

Further, the Marine Corps has more officers that came up through the ranks than any other service.

Just thought you'd like to know.

Uh, you can ask Mustang how many years he was "before the mast", so to speak. I am not sure he'd tell. If I recall, he's held more paygrades than General Hagee, our current Commandant.
