But, seriously..that's a beautiful prayer, Mustang. I think a lot of us ARE depressed; the Fourth's Posts yesterday were more THE CONSTITUTION and less THE FIREWORKS of last year. And, of course, it makes sense. Who knew a president would be buying companies and banks and trying to nationalize our health care a year ago?

I've always thought that God has a sense of humor.
I do find myself depressed. Just a little while ago, I took out my depression and frustration on some jungle weeds in my yard. Lots more to go, too.
Amen. And while I don't know Ducky well, I got a nice chuckle. We all need chuckles.
Your last paragraph is so important. I made a comment yesterday - don't know where - maybe on my own blog, that we need to be praying for Democrats, both in Congress and out. There are many, many Democrats whose hopes and dreams have been hijacked as well. Prayer that they will see America with wisdom and faith and goodwill. Just a demand from constitutents to their Democrat congresscrat that they want attitudes to change, want to see more honor in Congress, more respect...would go a long way.

It was a rather depressing 4th. Spending it at a Tea Party was almost surreal, based on past celebrations. Not sure the opposition movement is solid right now, too many disparate parts and not enough balanced leaders.
But Mustang, thanks for reminding us what really matters.

The Tea Party I attended yesterday had 250 people-'official count'..that would be those who signed in--
25-50 were expected--(it was a short notice venue)...
