I see that "American Patrol" is on the PlayList. I haven't thought about that song in years!
I learned to play it way back when -- when I bought a Wurlitzer home organ.
I found a bit of information about that merry tune. The sheet music was published the same year my father was born. He was, of course, very familiar with the tune as it was played a lot when Dad was a man about town.

LA … “Clowns” is probably the best description we can give members of Congress and the administration. Most notably because it is like a 3-ring circus up there. Maybe that’s why Washington is laid out in a huge circle.

AOW … that link to American Patrol and other oldies was truly remarkable. I had no idea the song has been around that long. I mean … I never imagined that Sunset probably listened to the original on a victorola machine.
I thought you’d enjoy the playlist far better than if I attempted to sing a few tunes. I’m sure there is an EPA rule against that anyway.
