Social Sense

Gravatar Thanks for your service Mustang, and to all the vets here or those working the front lines of the WoT.

Gravatar OK, gang, ask just ten people you meet this long weekend what Memorial Day is about.

Failing that, teach your kids.

Gravatar Great video and great reminder to include those who are brave first responders. There are few men I meet as loving and gentle than paramedics. I watched four of them attending a little old lady they'd brought in to an ER a few years ago. I got tears in my eyes watching how they hovered and cared for her even though they were finished with what they 'had' to do and were just waiting to make sure she was seen. God bless them all...thanks for the reminder, Mustang, and thanks again for YOUR service! xxx

Gravatar less we forget!!! So much that we hold dear has already slipped away. Just keep reminding us.....stay well...

Gravatar I wish that more Americans observed the meaning of Memorial Day. Even as we are at war, people seem to have forgotten the meaning of the day.

Gravatar After reading this, I think of my brothers and sisters who were murdered at the Pentagon on 9/11.

Semper Fi, nice blog.

Gravatar Thanks again for you many insights over the years. How quickly much of America forgets that threats are real and present, both within and without our borders.

Few really think about what our life might be if we had to live in the routine instability of any town in Afganistan or Iraq or Iran. Serving there means you are a better target than the locals.

I wish our system would produce better leaders at the national political level. We get the government we deserve. (Whether or not we individually agree with it!)
Semper fi, old friend. Pablo.

Gravatar Thank you Mustang for your service now and always dear friend! Blessed Memorial Day to you and yours!

Gravatar Go Navy!!!
