Make sure to take plenty of vitamin C if you can get your hands on it. I'm of the philosophy that it's better to get it over with than for the sickness to drag out while you wonder if you'll get sicker. Plus it would suck to get sick on the way back and then you'd get your family sick. And maybe it would turn out to be some weird strain of flu that kills old people here in the US and in a few months we'll be referring to you as patient zero.
I hope you continue to enjoy your "insider" status for the last couple weeks. And I look forward to seeing you when you get back.

isn't that how it always is though? Like when I was little, my cousins or people i didn't know well would come over for some party and we'd be all shy in the beginning, and just when we were starting to have fun, it would be time to leave.
