Actually, the OED has a much better definition for blivit: "A pseudo-term for something useless, unecessary, annoying, etc.; hence, = THINGAMAJIG (see quots.). One of the quotes provided, which comes from the 1967 Dictionary of American Slang definss a blivet as '10 pounds of shit in a 5-pound bag'. And I didn't realize Alex Rodriguez and his puffy lips were in Alexander. The guy sure is versatile.
