This season feels like 2002 - my gut tells me that it's going to be a controversy-free BCS decision with USC and Texas as the only unbeatens. I don't think either of the SEC teams are powerful enough to get out of the conference, including the CG, without a loss. Same goes for VT. It's just a schedule issue.
Then in the Rose Bowl, USC plays the role of Miami (huge name defending NC) and Texas is OSU (they don't play the same, but they're both big name programs that never win squat). Texas wins, and costs Vince Young millions when further solidifies the idea in his head that he should play QB in the NFL.
I left you my recollections on the 2 worst UVA games in '98 back on mine. Would be safe to say I remember both games very vividly as well.
