You would probably drop the nearest heavy object on your head if I told you how briskly that Angels and Airwaves record is selling. You have to recognize that kids who were 14 when "Rock Show" came out are taking their first tentative (i.e. moronic) steps towards defining themselves as adults. Since Tom DeLonge is sort of growing up with them (even though dude is 30+ at this point), it makes a lot of sense that kids will relate to this and snatch it up in huge numbers.
Oh yeah, and fuck Travis Barker for having a smoking hot wife. I'd like to think that this will go the way of most skewed celebrity couples, but they already have a kid, so unless the money dries up and he turns into Charlie Sheen I can't see it happening.
She kinda skews skanky in my opinion, but if it makes you feel any better, just remember that he got to hit that shit only after she pumped out three kids for Oscar De La Hoya. Add that to the two kids she had with Travis. And you wifed her...
The real tragedy with Angels and Airwaves is that they are still better than half the shit on the top 100 i.e. Godsmack, Rascal Flatts, Toby Keith, and Taking Back Sunday and probably better than half the bands pitchfork reviews. However, do not get me wrong, I cannot stand that band.
