Awesome post. The dunk is about fun, it's about creativity, it's about guys doing new shit. It's not about how tough MJ can grade newcomers simply because they ain't him.

I shall make fun of Veronica Corningstone as I see fit. Look, it's not her fault; Will Ferrel, Steve Carrel and Paul Rudd were supernaturally intended to deliver the kind of jokes "Anchorman" offered. Christina Applegate (word to Prince Be, you gotta put me on) is not. Look, "Simon Says (Remix)" had Shabaam Sahdeeq. "Anchorman" had Veronica Corningstone. We got past it.

Corningstone is the only thing that holds back Anchorman from being one of the five best movies I've ever seen. She might not even be enough.
Posterized was awesome, and made even better by the fact that on Friday, Dick Stockton pronounced the opening three letters like he was shouting out De La and saying "Posdnuos."

i have to agree with you, mj and kobe don't make for good dunk judges - both way too serious and nate robinson should be banned next year. don't go too hard on gerald green, isn't he like 19 or something?
