That was wonderful, took 3 minutes to read and I don't need to worry about the hours I would surely have wanted back.

Yes! More wrestling reviews! At this rate, I'm going to end up actually watching the stuff.

Whoa, I haven't been this interested in Wrestling since Grade 8. Thanks...I think?

Gravatar You know, I remember when only toothless white-trash rednecks watched wrestling. Whatever happened to those days?

Gravatar That stereotype's never really been true (although it IS true that the wrestling audience skews heavily to low-income, working-class males). The WWE would regard its home venue as Madison Square Garden. Canada, Mexico and Japan have big wrestling audiences. On the other hand, it's pretty much dead as a mainstream form of entertainment in Europe (although apparently there's been a recent explosion of interest in Italy, where attendance has suddenly gone through the roof).

Gravatar Good review, I agree with pretty much all of your points, save two:

I thought Shelton Benjamin really had to win given the way they built the feud, with "Kerwin White" usuing the usual heelish one upmanship. A win for Kerwin here would have left me as uncomfortable as I did when HHH won at Wrestlemania 19 against Booker T after the infamous "boy", "people like you" etc promos in the build....

And according to wwe.com, Kerwin White is now to get a bodyguard (sorry, a *caddy*), which not only makes the result make even more sense, is just a brilliant concept if they can make it work.

I agree with you that Masters should have won his match, but sadly I don't think they've given up on him; I think this is the beginning of an even bigger push for him.

And just why does he constantly look to the Titantron when he's wrestling? At first I thought it was a part of his gimmick, which would make sense, but it appears to be more of an angle checking thing. Odd.

Also looking forward to the Raw 3 hour special in a couple of weeks time, assuming Sky Sports are showing it.
