Gravatar You know, the severe lack of anything showing "for mature readers only" was the real offsetting thing about the book. Other than that, average and not worth buying.

DC has a real aura of just not caring about anything at this point, be it a simple measure of labeling a book for a certain age group, schedules, coherent direction, changes that come at the last minute because Morrison or Jones change their mind, it's just a sense of "why should I care, They're JUST readers?"

And even though 2 of the 3 scripts were turned in before being announced, there is a complete belief that the third issue WILL be late, much like the Millar/Hitch FF run has already missed a month of shipping despite stockpiling issues up (maybe it has missed 2 months since I don't remember people talking about it in October).

Gravatar Yeah FF, is now two months late : they've just solicited a Christmas story for February...

Gravatar At this point, honestly, the Joker is move overused than Wolverine, so the last thing I wanted to read was yet another story featuring him. And, honestly, I think Kevin Smith's brand of humor works much much better in movies than in comic books.
