Glad to see I wasn't the only person who thought this was surprisingly - almost insultingly - good. For once, the creators involved seem to have taken the preposterousness of the franchise as an actual challenge, and not merely as an excuse to shamelessly phone it in. Still inside baseball, but considering both of us probably got all the in-jokes there were to get, we don't have a lot of room to complain...
I really wasn't going to get this -- didn't even have the original creative team involved -- but I have a thing for Machine Man, and boy, this was a lot of fun, and eager to see what it does next. Love the D-list casting.
