I saw that Rolex video for the first time the other day, and I can't help but feel that the video makers are being a bit subversive with all the waifish model types sneaking about at night and eating old chicken out of the rubbish. Or maybe I'm reading too much into it.

Well, the song is about the irritation (familiar to us all, of course) of hooking up with a new girl only to find that she is immediately borrowing your bling. So I've always interpreted that video as a rather laboured visual pun on "fox" (foxes being scavengers and all).

Well, to be fair, when I saw it, I was trying to avoid the actual song, because it's largely awful.

I'm sure that all of us Scotsmen everywhere can sympathise with our bling being forever borrowed.

Scooter seems to make songs just for sporting events I take it. At least that's what it sounds like.

You are evidently unfamiliar with the horrors of mainstream Eurodance (and the even greater horrors of hardcore dance records from the Benelux nations). I should do a post on that some time.

I know of the general eurodance, but I admit my knowledge is limited to what we have over here as stadium music (Zombie Nation, etc.). Even when I was in Europe I never really heard eurodance (my blessing I guess?)
The only eurodance that is a guilty pleasure is Eric Prydz's Call on Me, mainly due to the awesome music video. I don't even know if that is technically considered eurodance.
Also, I like how the german equivalent to Jenna Jameson is the other racer in Scooter's use of "the logical song"
I take it Scooter's big thing is to just have a voice sped up playing in the background with a generic dance beat?
