Dude, test knitter is very cool. I'd love to do that. And I'd love to meet up someday. I have little experience in the flyover area, so might be fun to check out. Just a brief couple years in Chicago, which I don't think counts, and some family in tennessee.

Test Knitter Extraordinaire - SWEET! I would SO put that on my cards! You can add that after Official Kid, you're allowed to have more than one title, I said so!

What deal do you get for being a test knitter? To they pay you per job? Do you get to keep whatever you knitted after they check it? A discount on yarn? Anything?

Flushing? WHere in Flushing? Flushing was a good place to be from (speaking as a Flushing girl, myself).

And UPS won't even come out to where I live. I have to drive an hour or more to pick my things up from UPS.

Sure am a Flushing girl, born and bred. (OK, not born, I was born in Hillcrest General, which I think is technically over the line into Hillcrest.) Went to Beis Yaakov in Kew Gardens and Central High in Holliswood, then on to Queens College, back in good old Flushing.

Yarn stores in Israel sck, and not in a good way. Need 144 different colors of cheap, nasty acrylic? I can get you all you want.

I also am curious as to how they pay you to test knit. Sooner may have a gig test knitting a dog sweater pattern (using one of my dogs) and his pay is to keep the sweater. We are going to flying fingers and they sell everything southwest trading co has. Sooner is very interested in bamboo.
