I'm really feeling the stripe combo, the warm tones will look great on you. Pat yourself on the back everyday, you knit beautifully! I'm sorry we did not meet. It's okay though, I like to travel. I'll visit.
Purl seams are a pain in the ass. Run a piece of string through the hard to see bar as you knit. Not much time spent, and you can find the bars easier.
The Harmony Guides Vol. 2 & 3 has excellent illustrations for seaming.

Ooooooh!!!!! I love the stripes, and you know me and my stripes. That's so funny that you made a second one cause I was just thinking I wanted to make one too! The reason is because you left the PDF file of the pattern on my desktop and I looked at it and thought, hey, that might be a good project, and I could even use my olive green yarn with the gold sparkles that I was saving for the Zygote branching out scarf. I don't know if the yardage is sufficient, but I'll check.
Really cute! Yours is really tempting me to make one if my own!
