I love the color! puke and snot indeed, which are colors that make me think of you. oh wait. that didnt come out right : P I still need to get that ik, but all I want is that sock pattern.

Is that polar I spot?

I love those colors!!!!

Great socks and that skirt pattern is really cute.

Gotta love socks that are the color of puke and snot. You are so funny! Thanks for bringing them last night so I can feel the Koigu goodness. I'm having Koigu envy.

The socks are great!

And it also drives me crazy when people ask why I just don't buy them!!! What little they know...

You don't just BUY socks because handmade ones are the heroin of the fashion world. Once you have some, you just can't go back. And they are so quick to make (I whipped up that entire pair last night with you...sometimes big yarn is nice), portable, endlessly fascinating, and sexy as.....I don't know. As sexy as any foot fetishist could imagine, I guess. And they are so personal, so secretive almost. And non-knitters, even the ones who don't understand why you don't just go and buy some, are almost always entirely amazed that YOU CAN KNIT SOCKS. Actual socks. I still feel that way with each pair that I make. And no matter what else holds my attention in knitting, I always return to socks.
By the way, it is true that all of my favorite hand-knit socks have a connection to you....either you picked out the yarn, dyed it or helped me dye it, sat at my side while I stitched them, gave me the yarn as a gift, or, like my new favorites, made them for me yourself. You are the best, Foxbot Queen/King!!!!!
Knit on, dear!
Love,

I started making socks right before Christmas. I'm still feeling my way through it, but I love that the whole project goes by so quickly! There is no time to get tired of the damn thing (unlike scarves, which I now hate, endless projects that they are).

I love the socks, the color is awesome.

I can't wait to see what you are knitting in that little hint picture.

I can't wait to start that pattern!!!

Also, I'm upset that I haven't used koigu and that I don't have any to use for them, but hopefully soon!

Gotta love Koigu. What a great pattern. When are you coming back to NYC????!

puke and snot happen to be two of my favorite colors, along with cyanosis and varicose vein.

Hi - I was bored today at work, and was looking around the internet for knitting blogs and found you.

Love this site, love your stuff.
Love The Point, although none of my friends ever want to go there with me.

Keep on Stitching!

I totally agree with the sock knitting fun once I started I just can't stop. I love the puke and snot socks!! The embossed leaves socks are great I'm intimidated by them but they are on my list now that I see yours.
