11sts per inch! Thats amazing. The details all look wonderful too. I've never heard of the toe-up techniques book, but will have to look into it.

Wow, 11 stitches per inch!!

They look great.

glad to see you're back blogging!

I wondered what had happened to you and if are doing ok! Glad to see you are and I miss your blog posts and also hearing from you!

Good lord, that's some tiny yarn! The recipient of those socks is one lucky girl--they're beautiful!

I

i love your socks and that yarn. i recently discovered Sknitches and absolutely adore that site. i'll be buying yarn from there soon.

I took them home with me to KC. Everyone said the same thing, "They look like real socks." When I showed them the gusset, they were even more empressed. Everyone really liked them. This has been the coolest Christmas. I'm having trouble with the poor Poinsetta plant tho'.

Did I really, really say that a heel gusset is divine? I meant that being an old lady is divine. Or maybe that Divine is an old lady. Or maybe a man pretending to be an old lady. Either way, he's dead, and your heel gusset lives on. Coincidence?
Love,
Jerri Blank

I can't agree more, This is in fact i.m.o. the ONLY heel.
