Wow, really awesome socks!

Those socks are awesome, love the colors, look great with the new shoes.

Those are some nice gams! Serously, the socks and shoes are tres nice. The ribbing adds nice textural interest.

I used to live in Tucson and savored the cool, wool sock days.

Thanks for dropping by my blog. I did dye sock yarn (with koolaid).

Cheers!

pretty socks! i love the yarn pirate.

you live in arizona and go to asu! i used to do both of those things, only i never knew any knitters there, unfortunately. enjoy the chilly weather while it lasts!

Awesome socks!! It has finally started to snow here in Michigan - it has been a very strange winter. How cold is it there?

I meant to ask you tonight and forgot, with the whole toe-up reverse heel flap thingy, did you have any problem with them being too long in the foot? I added about 2" to my regular pattern by using this toe-up method, but it's ok. Letoya needs nice socks, too. I like this method enough to use it again, especially now that I know that I only have to knit about three inches of toe before starting the heel.
Miss you,
k

Did you match your yarn to your shoes or your shoes to your yarn? Cute!

This is one belated comment, but those are some really cute socks--and shoes!

I'm currently knitting my first pair of toe-up socks, but I've never done short-row-heels before so I'm kind of scared. I would prefer to knit a heel flap, so I wanted to ask you how you do it, since you said that it's your own pattern (unless it's a secret) ... ?

I love, love the socks - that yarn you chose looks so good with the st. pattern.

But the SHOES! The shoes are AWESOME.

Love how you matched your handknit socks and cute shoes... awesome.

I want!

That is one cool pair of socks.
