Wow! I've been toying with ripping back my one grasshopper done in the wild tide and switching patterns. And since I am late to the RSC, I have not yet knitted up my monsoon. Your monsoon grasshoppers look great! |
Wow, they look so comfy and airy! Fast to knit - I like that... Lately I've mostly seen lovely finished socks presented here. But hmmm, your next project doesn't look anything like socks. Looking forward to seeing what you're about! |

The monsoon looks great with the grasshopper pattern! I'm using a different pattern for the silkie too, and the colors look so much nicer with a more solid pattern than the lacy grasshopper. Great job! |
What also works is doing the wrap from front to back (instead of coming from the back over to the front). It makes it easier to pick up, and produces a nice looking mesh. |
Well, yours are definitely my favorite Monsoon socks yet. I love what you've done with the sock club stuff so far. Keep it coming! By the way, did you alternate skeins to get that subtle striping, or did the lace pattern keep down the drastic pooling? |
Hey thanks for all the nice comments. |
The colorway & pattern look great together... I also like the choice you made w/ the inside outs & spring fling colorway. |
wow! These are great, of course they are a limited edition pattern |
That pattern is perfect for that yarn. No weird pooling going on. I love it. Love the shoes too. |
Wow, great idea using the monsoon for the grasshopper socks! The pattern looks really nice in that colorway. I agree with you on the Walk on the Wild Tide - it needs something more stockinetty |
Nice socks......as always! |
This is a fabulous pattern! and so great in that yarn. Of course, like I have said before, I adore the shoes |
Wow, I really like what the Grasshopper pattern did to the Monsoon colorway. Nice job! |
