Yes, congrats to the new ELECTED LEADERS of our fine city. I truly and honestly hope that they will govern in a way that upholds the best interest of our ENTIRE CITY, and not the minority interest of a few vocal, no-growth people.

For me personally, I have been asking this very question for a long time.... "Who the hell does this RAID group really think they are?"
And even more specifically, "Why do developers need to kiss RAID's ring" to get things accomplished in this town??? All 7 or 8 members of RAID!
Getting back to my point above of congratulating our ELECTED OFFICIALS, I hope that these officials and P&Z members do their work as we have assigned them to do as the people of Kingman. Examine and vote on the changes and challenges that this city faces moving foreward...WITHOUT RAID involved in the discussions or negotiations!
If RAID wants to go to meetings, have their voices heard, or even have issues put on ballots...fine. That is their rights as citizens of this town. BUT...it ends there! It is wrong for our elected officials, P&Z commissioners, or P&Z employees to refer issues and negotiations regarding the CITY'S OFFICIAL BUSINESS to this special interest group!
PEOPLE OF KINGMAN! WAKE UP AND STOP LETTING THIS HANDFULL OF PEOPLE RUN OUR TOWN!!!!
Yvonne... the results of the poll could mean that we have a nice diverse readership. Most of the traffic at this site is coming from local sources (which is great) these days.
I think it was a bit tougher to manipulate this particular poll than some of the others that I saw around the local Internet sites.
The sad thing is that the 122 votes logged at this poll here represented 3.88% of the actual votes cast in the election.
Turnout was horrible.
