Gravatar What most people don't understand is the candidates when they win have a direct impact on real estate values.

Think about it. How about when a new factory comes to town and is able to get preferential tax treatment.

These decisions are made by candidates.

In other words, they have a lot of power.

Gravatar Good point Maureen!

A good council will represent the vibe of the community in areas such as growth and econimic development. It should also encourage the types of growth we desire and disuade undesirable growth.

Kingman voters need to consider that representation and elect a council that is going to promote the quality of development we want in our community, both short and long term.

Gravatar Yes, our mayor and city council sets the "tempo" for companies wanting to come to Kingman. And, companies pay attention.

If we make it hard on companies to do business here, they will simply do to other communities where their projects can be built quickly and with less trouble.

No company wants to go through years of zoning and fighting with a city council or groups like RAID.
