I really like these personal posts that offer general insights. I had a strong reaction after reading this and wanted to offer my 2c. Shocker, right? <br><br>I've been through some crazy times relationship-wise (although not nearly as bad as this guy it seems) and I can honestly say I wouldn't take back or change any of those experiences. Those experiences have TAKEN me to this point and made me what I am today, which is a much cooler, fuller, and better individual, particularly in a relationship sense. My last couple of relationships I totally bombed the final acts, but if I hadn't had those bombs I wouldn't have gotten serious about making changes. I wouldn't have REALIZED that true growth needed to happen. <br><br>Maybe this guy will do the same? Who knows. I don't think *not* dating is the answer, although I don't know what the answer is. We can read blogs and books and visit shrinks until we're blue in the face, but we'll never truly know what works until we experience it. Not so great for the partners in the continuum, but how else do you get from point A to point Z?
