If you knew the epic love was definitely coming, it'd be worth the wait. Life gives you no guarantees about love so maybe we try to fit the partner we're with into the role and try and delude ourselves.
i think you're spot on gwen...we're an impatient people...and i think that impatience sometimes indeed leads us to fit our partner into the mold and then to convince ourselves he is what we want him to be...
An Epic Love. I like that. The older I get and more mature I become the more important it is for me take the time to truly become friends with someone before the rest of the love stuff.
I believe that it is definitely worth the wait.
I've rushed in, I've rushed out and that didn't work. So now it's time to be patient.

Ummm...whoopsie! Perhaps I should have read this before sending the "Dear John" letter. Then again, the foundation was just too shakey for my weak knees.
