Gravatar No, but they are inspired by them. When you make Hasselbackspotatis you have to make the cuts very close to each other and you don't use bay leaves at all. It is also fundamental to bathe them many times during the baking with butter as you suggested. I love that dish! Have you been to Sweden often?
