Lucullian delights

Gravatar That is very interesting. It makes sense that leek leaves would work well to wrap things up, given their strength, but this is the first recipe that I've seen using them in this manner. I bought some parmesan and found some arborio...I think I see some sort of risotto in my future!

Gravatar Hi Ilva, this looks great! I'm definitely going to give it a try

Gravatar Dawn-good luck witth the risotto, I hope you will tell me the outcome!

Melissa-That makes me really happy to hear! I hope you will like it!

Gravatar Hi Ilva - I've never thought of using leek leaves for anything! You're so creative! I'm going to try to find that cheese around here and I'm already planning on the risotto this weekend...

I love the moss pictures - they really do show off their texture in your picture. That rosemary is stunning also...

Gravatar Very interesting about the olive harvest.

Paz

Gravatar Michelle-Good luck with the risotto, I hope you find the cheese but risotto is always nice anyway...

Paz I'll write some more about it next week or so!

Gravatar That's interesting recipe, but tell me please how to fold not so wide (in fact not wide at all) leek leaves in triangles ?

here, in Poland, we do not have leeks with wide leaves.

help, because i want to cook it.

Gravatar All right, i know how to do that. Till now i have always cut leeks in half or to circles.

It should work then.

Gravatar Piotr-am I right in supposing that you already figured it out?

Gravatar I know the idea, but i didn't manage to fold triangles, only inregular shapes . Maybe posting photos of folding technique would help.

Nevertheless, it's the best thing i have eaten for months.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for discovering taste of fennel ... i will try more recipes with it.

Gravatar Piotr-It makes me really happy to hear that you liked it!
