that is one interesting sounding lasagna. pesto, tomatoes & mozza. I can understand why the pesto would overpower the mozza but it still has its charm with the saltiness. could be quite delicious i think!

This recipe sounds delicious. I love the combo of tomato/pesto/mozzarella. I'm going to try this as a gluten-free dish. If it turns out well, I'll let you know [and link back to this]. Thanks!

Catesa-I think it also depend on how much pesto you use!
Thanks!

Sounds simple and delicious! Like you, I used to cook way too much pasta until I got a little kitchen scale. After a bit of trial and error, I figured out that 75 g. of dry pasta is a nice serving for one person. It might look like a small amount when I throw it into the pot, but I try not to add more, and it's perfect.

And me, I actually like to cook *extra* pasta - especially spaghetti or linguini - so that I have leftovers.
The next day I make a baked pasta frittata with it!

Ilva: I'm going to assume you speak Italian (as well as Swedish and English, and is there anything else you haven't told us?).
So how come in America "lasagne" is spelled "lasagna"? I always thought it was a pluralization thing in grammar, but now I wonder. Maybe we misspell it for pronunciation reasons.

Tania-Well that's dried pasta, I make lasagne with fresh pasta and I always start out with too much flour which means that it gets too much in the end. And I know more or less how much I really need but when I'm there, it looks too little anyway so I add a lot. You need a little less pasta for each person because of all the filling that when you make a normal pasta dish. But do I learn?? NO, IT'S ALWAYS THE SAME....
Karina-And you are doing the right thing because that is really nice!!
CC-Le lasagne is the plural form and here we say that you make le lasagne, I suppose it has something to do with all the pasta sheets that you use, I have to check this up better!

lisa-no, I just kind of throw the ingredients into the blender and push the button. I SHOULD make it in a mortar but as I never manage to find one that I like, I have to make it this way!
