Ilva -- you SO got me on that "asparagus" shot!! I was laughing out loud: talk about food porn! The gelatin sounds lovely, I took that approach too but I like the consistency of yours much better.

I am in awe! The red pasta is postively breathtaking and actually has me tempted to take out the pastamaker that's been gathering dust for over 10 years. Your cooking and your photography are both inspired.

Your pasta are beautiful! I love the color contrast with the asparagus and pine nuts. Does the flavour of beet roots come through clearly or is it more of a subtle aroma?
By the way, I don't know how you are able to make gelly look so sexy... great for valentine day!

SusanV- Thank you! I really hope you start making some pasta again, it's so easy and so much better tasting!
Pille-Can you understand what they are going on about?? We innocent nordic girls... And thank you for your kind words!!
Fran-you are always so nice! But why are you not blogging more??hmm...
Isil-well, I have to steer over to your blog, I have always been very curious about your country's cuisine...
Magic Tofu-thank you! The beet root is quite subtle and 'marries' the aspargus very well actually! And about the jelly, food is sensual; I have always though that some people look sexy only when they eat! Maybe because they abandon themselves to pleasure only in those moments!
Paz-do you EVER say something nasty??
Giant Squid-I just love the way you describe it with words, so textually appealing! Thanks, I'll make you my copy writer!!

So beautiful! All the colors are exquisite, and I love that opening shot of lime and pear on rice paper. Perfect! (I just added rice paper to my photo repertoire, but I haven't gotten anything that lovely out of it yet!)
