What beautiful pictures. I can't wait to try your eggplant dish. I have a great love of cooking and will be in Italy in September to see my daughter and her husband who are there for 3 years.

I found a beautiful aubergine at our local store yesterday and searched through your blog for a dish to make. As I am alone tonight I decided on this one -(my hubby doesnt like chickpeas....or eggplant really come to think of it - and it was sooo yummy! Thanks so much Ilva!! I have some left over for my lunch tomorrow and I just know it is going to be really good!
