Lucullian delights

Gravatar Oh my lord ... ricotta AND chocolate? What are you trying to do? Kill me? I love it ... kill me some more!

Gravatar Beautiful Ilva. Loves the green against the white, very fresh! I will try that!

Gravatar OH MY OH MY OH MY OH MY ... I'll take three ... of EACH ...

Gravatar Lovely, lovely, lovey! I love the idea that you were able to get your ricotta fresh from the shephard and his sheep. Where do I get my ricotta? Supermarket shelf. And I have to check the expiration date.

Paz

Gravatar Oh my gosh!! A small chef d'oeuvre in a glass, to say nothing of yummy in my tummy!

Gravatar Yum!!! i'll have the chocolate.

Gravatar What delicious-looking desserts! Like Paz, I'm stuck with ricotta considerably less fresh than yours. Boo.

I'm intrigued by the use of basil in a dessert ... sounds unusual, but I imagine it would be quite good!

Gravatar This sounds so good! Do you think a citrus flavor would work, or would it curdle the ricotta? Basil and lime are good together, that's why I'm wondering.

Gravatar MM-you have the same taste as my husband, he loved the chocolate version!

Bea- Thanks, it is spring after all...hopefully

Alanna-take them! I tried to leave a comment at your place but I never got through because your icecream is such a wonderful invention!!

Paz-but I'm sure you can find freshish ricotta somewhere. And I know that Sam has a recipe on Becks & Posh on how to make fresh ricotta!

Connie- You're welcome to it!

b2b-you too??

Tania-see my answer to Paz on where to find a recipe for ricotta.

KQ-I'm sure almost anything would work so try it and then tell me!

Gravatar OMG Ilva, this mousse both looks and sounds delicious!

Gravatar What a beautiful photo Ilva - each one sounds delicious! Don't think I can get candied cedar peel around these parts, but candied ginger sounds good (as do all your other ideas!)

Gravatar Dagmar-thanks! I'm thinking a lot about our project, I'll mail you soon!

Cathy-Thank you! I can think of lots of other flavours, the ricotta mousse is an excellent base for them to play on!

Gravatar aaah, so thats where the foodography photo came from! Do you know it looks better here; I think flickr darkens images somewhat. A great entry for SHF btw.

(i cant remember and dont have the list in front of me but are you joining in EBBP?)

Gravatar andrew- but I use flick'r here as well but maybe it's slightly larger when you blog it? Thanks anyway! And I still haven't decided if I'm going to participate in EBBP, I'll probably do but it depends on when the parcels are supposed to be sent as I'm going to Milan at the beginning of April. I'll check it up now!
