Ilva-your pictures are just wonderful. I love how you get the close-ups and they are not blurry. I still have not mastered that but I guess it's a work in progress.

Once again, your photos are just amazing. I love the pun, thyme takes time. Another alternative to dried is frozen. I have quite a bit of thyme in my garden, and when it's getting to be winter I cut off the stems and freeze it, stems and all, then when I need some I just slide my finger along the stem and break some off. It's quite good. I do have a lot of freezer space, so I'm lucky that way. I have one sister who doesn't like thyme at all and I simply don't understand it. I think it's good in so many things.

Vicky-it's thanks to the macro function, haven't you found that on your camera?
vanessa-what a wonderful compliment - THANKS!!
Kalyn-I never thought about that, probably because my thyme survives the winter here. But I will tell my Swedish friends about this! And thanks!
tschörda- and I make a carrot cake with ginger, it is really a nice combination so I'll sure try your carrots!

Beautiful pictures, Ilva! I made carrots with rosemary and orange few months ago which I loved, so I'd surely love this one, too. Your blog is a great inspiration for vegetable dishes..
