Oh, what a lovely parcel, Ilva! Lucky girl! Sweet Jenni also sent me an EBBP parcel earlier, and the contents were lovely. Anna, who sent me my EBBP3 parcel, also wrapped each gift in cooking magazine paper. And I did just like you, I saved all of them. Haha

Treasures - how wonderful. Do send things wrapped in paper with recipes in Italian. This adds to the mystique of the box even if one can't read it. I, personally, would use them as background on a scrapbook page mounting on top recipe cards in English on some mouthwatering Italian dish.

What a wonderful and thoughtful package - such great ideas! Figs soaked in alcohol are sooooo yummy - I soaked mine in rum, but I think a Portugese Port sounds amazing! I agree with Maureen! Perhaps it would push me to learn Italian just to be able to read them (I want to anyway, of course, there just never seems enough time...)!

So glad you liked it! EBBP is always such fun. Looks like everything survived the journey reasonably well, which is always a relief!

Looks like a wonderful parcel indeed - those figs in port sound especially delicious!
Just like you, I've booked several recipes from that issue of the Olive (did you note that Melissa's blog was mentioned on p. 153?!), and can certify that the lemon and ricotta cake on page 35 is absolutely wonderful!

Looks fantastic. Olive is one of my favorite food mags... unfortunately, I get mine a month late in the States!

these really remind me of camp. I love the comraderie and sharing spirit! (even if that's too sappy and american for Europeans.)

Dagmar-By now you know that I was the one who had to send a EBBP parcel to you! Hahaha!
B2b-Very lucky indeed!
Mauseen-yes wrapping food in Italian recipes really appeals to me!
Vaness-yes, I wish it happened every week. And it's nice to send as well actually!
Michelle-you just wait and see, you might have to learn Italian sooner than you think...
Jenni-I didn't like it-I LOVED it!
Pille-Yes I saw that cake as well... and I did see the thing about Melissa! Today I'm going to lay down on my bed and READ it properly!
L-I was actually toying with the idea of getting a subscription...
Andrew-Yes there you are indeed! "the hottest tip on the drink-related blog scen"-you have a lot to live up to there!
Shuna-if you want I will but I'm sure that you have your own delicious version of it! Well even I, a hardened Swede and European like a little bit sappy comraderie now and then! I really enjoy the food blog community sprirt, it is very generous and caring!
